Due to its 1,245-pound weight, this fountain must be placed on a level, solid, and reinforced surface such as a concrete patio or a stone pad. Placing it on soft ground or uneven surfaces can cause the fountain to shift or tilt over time.

The fountain arrives in multiple sections that require stacking and securing. While the pump is included, you will need at least two people to handle the heavy cast stone components and ensure the tiers are properly leveled and sealed.

The hand-applied finishes are designed to weather and patina naturally over time, which adds to the fountain's character. To preserve the finish, avoid using harsh chemicals or pressure washers; a gentle rinse with a garden hose is sufficient for routine cleaning.

In regions that experience freezing temperatures, you must drain the fountain, remove the pump, and cover the structure. Water expanding as it freezes can cause the cast stone to crack, so it is best to winterize the unit before the first frost.

The fountain holds 30 gallons of water, but evaporation will occur depending on your local climate and wind exposure. You should check the water level regularly to ensure the pump remains fully submerged, as running the pump dry will cause it to fail.

The fountain uses a standard 110V plug, which must be connected to a GFCI-protected outdoor outlet. While the pump is designed for underwater use, ensure your power source is properly shielded from direct exposure to the elements.
