The XC7 RGB PRO water block included in this kit is compatible with Intel LGA 1700 and 1200 sockets, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets.
This kit provides the core components for a CPU cooling loop and includes parts that support a future GPU expansion. However, you will need to purchase a separate GPU water block and additional tubing or fittings to integrate your graphics card into the loop.
The kit includes an iCUE controller that connects to your system via USB. You can then use Corsair’s iCUE software to monitor coolant temperatures, adjust the D5 pump speed, and customize the RGB lighting effects for the fans and water block.
You should use Corsair XL coolant or an equivalent coolant specifically designed for copper and brass custom loop systems. Avoid using aluminum-based coolants to prevent galvanic corrosion within the loop.
The radiator measures 396mm in length and 120mm in width, with a thickness of 30mm. Ensure your PC case has a mounting location that supports a 360mm radiator before installation.
The Xylem D5 PWM pump is designed for quiet, efficient operation. Because it features PWM control, you can set custom fan and pump curves in the iCUE software to keep noise levels minimal while maintaining optimal cooling performance.
