Leslie Dame Media Storage Cabinet
This beautifully styled solid oak storage cabinet from Leslie Dame Enterprises is one of our best sellers, offering handcrafted furniture quality in a popular mission design. It features a hand-rubbed oil finish available in your choice of walnut, cherry, dark oak, or black. The cabinet is primarily made of solid oak, with the exception of the back plywood panel which is finished to match the cabinet. It includes 15 adjustable shelves made of solid oak with a lacquer finish—5 in the main cabinet and 5 in each door, providing 18 total shelf spaces. This unit offers substantial capacity, holding up to 612 CDs, 298 DVDs/BluRays, or 172 VHS tapes. The doors are constructed with dovetail joints and feature heavy-duty antique finish door hinges. The cabinet comes fully assembled; you only need to position the shelves to your desired height. Please note that the Dark Oak finish is currently on backorder with no estimated time of arrival.

What customers say
The Leslie Dame Media Storage Cabinet generally receives a positive reception, primarily driven by its exceptional capacity and attractive, traditional design that seamlessly fits into most home décor. Customers frequently praise its ability to consolidate large collections of CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays, effectively solving significant media clutter issues. The finished look, often described as elegant and substantial, is a major selling point, providing excellent organizational utility. However, the path to achieving this organized state is often cited as the product's main weakness. Reviewers consistently mention that the assembly process is challenging, time-consuming, and sometimes requires two people, with instructions occasionally being vague. Furthermore, while the final product is sturdy, there are recurring concerns regarding quality control, including minor cosmetic damage upon arrival, slight misalignment of pre-drilled holes, and the need for careful adjustment of the cabinet doors and hinges to ensure they close properly. Despite these assembly hurdles and material critiques (it is often noted that the materials are veneered particle board), the overwhelming consensus is that the cabinet delivers excellent functionality and value once fully constructed and placed. The sentiment leans toward satisfaction, recognizing that the organizational benefits and aesthetic appeal outweigh the initial setup frustrations.
