Scratch and Dent items are fully functional products that may have cosmetic imperfections, such as scuffs, scratches, or minor paint chips from the manufacturing or shipping process. These blemishes do not affect the structural integrity or safety performance of the steel.

Pin-and-pipe safeties offer a rigid, steel-on-steel catch point that is extremely durable and reliable for heavy loads. While strap safeties are often quieter and easier to adjust, pin-and-pipe systems are generally preferred by lifters who want maximum structural confidence during failed reps.

These safeties are engineered specifically for the hole spacing and upright dimensions of Titan Fitness T-3 and X-3 Series racks. We do not recommend using them on other brands, as the pin diameter and length may not align safely with non-Titan equipment.

Installation is straightforward and requires no tools. You simply slide the steel pin through the desired holes in your rack uprights and then slide the protective pipe over the pin to create the catch bar.
