The peak is reinforced with 210d black nylon for added support, and the fly features snag-free #5 zippers. Setting up is intuitive: stake out the rectangle, insert the two poles, and extend them until taut. The tent also includes internal D-rings for hanging lights and pockets at the peaks for headlamps. Thanks to the easy-access dual doors, simple four-stake setup, and ultralight materials weighing just 36 ounces, the X-Mid 2P makes it easier than ever to enjoy all that mother nature has to offer. The tent is designed to withstand brutal conditions with a fly made of 20d 420T 100-percent polyester with a 2000mm sil/PU coating, and it has been tested under extreme lab conditions simulating a month and a half of continuous high winds and heavy rains. The peak uses 210d black nylon for reinforcement and supports quarter-inch grommets for trekking pole tips. It includes vents above each door with a strut for propping them open, and peak guylines can be deployed along with extra stakes at eight additional stake points around the perimeter. The fly uses #5 zippers that are designed to prevent snagging and ensure durability.
