Know before you buy
No, this cable is specifically engineered for temporary field deployments. While it is highly durable and abrasion-resistant, it is designed for mobile use rather than long-term, fixed outdoor burial or permanent exposure.
The cable features internal aramid strength members and a rugged polyurethane jacket that provide significant crush resistance. This allows it to withstand being stepped on or driven over by heavy vehicles without compromising the internal fiber integrity.
Yes, as an OM3 multimode fiber, it is well-suited for high-speed data transfer and professional audio/video applications. It provides the necessary bandwidth for demanding broadcast environments.
The 36-inch fanouts provide extra length and flexibility at the connection points, making it easier to plug the LC connectors into equipment racks or patch panels. Each fanout is protected by polyurethane tubing to ensure the individual channels remain secure during setup.
Yes, the cable is built to military specifications (MIL-PRF-85045) and is rated for an operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C. It is designed to maintain its performance in harsh, unpredictable field environments.
Yes, these are standard LC connectors that have been machine-polished to a UPC finish. This ensures consistent, high-quality signal transmission and reliable mating with standard LC ports.
