The construction boasts solid full-metal components, with pedal arms, footplates, and the heel rest made from cast and machined aluminum with a durable powder coating. The brake system is completely new, utilizing a custom-made Load-Cell sensor that measures pressure instead of position, calibrated for a realistic resistance equivalent to 90 kg on the pedal plate (adjustable). It features a two-stage braking effect using an elastomer spring stack (springs of 65, 75, and 85 Shore hardness included) combined with the Load-Cell sensor for a realistic feel. The required braking force is electronically adjustable via the Fanatec Tuning Menu or Control Panel. The pedals can be configured as a three-pedal set or easily converted to a two-pedal set. They offer flexibility in mounting, including the possibility of a hanging setup (mounting screws not included). The footplates come with removable rubber mats, allowing users to choose between high or low friction surfaces. Connectivity is versatile: connect directly to any compatible FANATEC® Wheel Base via the included RJ12 cable (recommended) or use the included USB cable to operate as a standalone USB device on a PC.
