The ASA profile is a unique hybrid that combines the spherical, sculpted aesthetic of SA keycaps with the height and ergonomics of the standard OEM profile. It offers a familiar, comfortable typing experience that feels slightly taller and more rounded than traditional flat keycaps.
These keycaps are made from solid PBT plastic and are not shine-through, meaning the legends will not allow light to pass through them. If you have RGB lighting, it will only provide an underglow effect around the base of the keys.
With 198 keys included, this set is designed to cover a wide range of layouts, including full-size, TKL, and compact boards. However, if your keyboard uses non-standard stabilizer sizes or an unconventional bottom row, you may encounter fitment issues with specific keys.
Double-shot PBT is highly resistant to the oily shine that develops on cheaper ABS plastic over time. Because the legends are molded into the keycap rather than printed on top, they will not fade or wear away even with heavy daily use.
You will need a standard keycap puller to safely remove your existing keys without damaging your switches. While not included in the set, a wire-style puller is recommended to prevent scratching the sides of the keycaps during installation.
