PBS Galaxy Keycap Set

PBS stands for Penguin Belly Slide, a uniform profile developed by Keyreative. Because every row has the same height and shape, it offers a consistent, flat typing experience that many users find more comfortable than traditional sculpted profiles.

These keycaps use a standard MX mount, making them compatible with almost all mechanical switches, including Cherry MX, Gateron, and Kailh. They are designed to fit most standard layouts, but you should check your specific keyboard's bottom row and shift key sizes against the kit contents.

Reverse dye sublimation allows for vibrant, full-color designs on PBT plastic that are resistant to fading and wear. Unlike standard dye-sub, this process dyes the entire surface of the keycap, ensuring the galaxy theme remains crisp and durable over time.

For a standard full-size or TKL keyboard, the Base kit is sufficient as it contains 158 keys. The Ortho & 40's and Novelties kits are optional additions intended for users with specialized layouts or those who want to add extra thematic flair to their board.

PBT is highly resistant to the oils and friction that cause ABS plastic to develop a 'shine' over time. You can expect these keycaps to maintain their original matte texture and appearance much longer than standard keycaps.
