These keycaps are made from opaque PBT plastic and are not shine-through. While they will fit on keyboards with RGB switches, the light will not pass through the legends or the keycap material.
The legends are created using a dye-sublimation process, which infuses the ink directly into the PBT plastic. This makes them highly resistant to fading or wearing off, even with heavy daily use.
You will need a standard keycap puller to safely remove your existing keys. Once removed, these keycaps press directly onto any standard MX-style cross-stem switch without needing additional tools.
