The HVFR tweeter works by squeezing air rather than pushing it, which results in a faster, more detailed high-frequency response with significantly less distortion than traditional dome tweeters.
While the dual quadratic planar radiators provide impressive low-frequency extension down to 45 Hz, it is still a center channel speaker. You will still need a dedicated subwoofer to handle the deep LFE (Low Frequency Effects) channel in a home theater setup.
The speaker measures 5.75 inches high, 20 inches wide, and 11 inches deep. Be sure to measure your shelf space carefully, keeping in mind that you should allow a little extra room for cable connections at the back.
This configuration places the tweeter between the two bass/midrange drivers, which helps create a wider, more uniform horizontal dispersion pattern. This ensures that everyone on your couch hears clear, consistent dialogue, even if they aren't sitting directly in the center.
