While the Gaia footers are designed for hard surfaces, you can use them on carpeted floors by pairing them with the optional IsoAcoustics Carpet Discs. These discs provide a stable, solid foundation for the footers to rest on, preventing them from sinking into the carpet pile.
Each Gaia Titan kit includes a variety of common thread adapters, including 1/2”-13, M8-1.25, M10-1.5, and M14-2.0. These cover the vast majority of high-end floor-standing speakers on the market.
By managing the energy transfer between the speaker and the floor, these footers reduce internal reflections and lateral oscillations. This isolation results in a cleaner, more open sound with a more precise and natural three-dimensional image.
