Wash the wrap in cool water with a mild, eco-friendly dish soap. Avoid hot water, as it will melt the beeswax coating, and let it air dry completely before folding it for storage.
The wraps are made with natural beeswax and tree resin, which may have a very faint, pleasant honey-like scent. This does not transfer to your food, and the wrap will not leave a sticky residue on your bread or dishes.
Use the warmth of your hands to soften the wax. Simply press and hold the wrap against the edges of your bowl or around the bread; as it cools, it will hold its shape and create a secure seal.
