You connect your audio source to the subwoofer's inputs and then run cables from the subwoofer's outputs to your main monitors. The built-in crossover then handles the frequency distribution, sending the low end to the sub and the rest to your speakers.
The T10S comes with high-grade rubber feet specifically designed to decouple the unit from the floor and minimize vibrations. While it performs well on most surfaces, placing it on a solid, level floor will yield the cleanest low-frequency reproduction.
The T10S offers 80 Hz, 120 Hz, and Bypass settings. Use 80 Hz for larger monitors that can handle more low-mid information, 120 Hz for smaller speakers like the T5V, or Bypass if you prefer to manage the crossover frequency externally via your audio interface or monitor controller.
At 15.4 inches high and 12.5 inches wide, the T10S is compact enough for most home studios. However, ensure you have enough physical space to allow the rear bass reflex port to breathe, as placing it too close to a wall can cause unwanted resonance.
