This innovative kit features a color-coded mud ring for easy size identification and a breakaway wire tie to simplify the pre-wiring process. It includes multi-position snap fit wings for versatile installation. A unique flat side with a raised wall allows direct mounting to a joist for precise alignment with other ceiling fixtures. The kit also provides perforated, ribbed metal wings capable of spanning up to 24 inches between studs, fastened securely with screws or nails. Note that this kit is not plenum rated.
