Know before you buy
The Ranger uses a double-wall construction that pulls air in through bottom vents and heats it before releasing it into the top of the fire. This creates a secondary burn that consumes smoke particles before they can escape, resulting in a much cleaner fire than a traditional open pit.
The Ranger is designed to accommodate wood logs up to 12 inches long. Because of its compact 15-inch diameter, you will need to source or cut your firewood to fit comfortably within the fire bowl.
While the Ranger is designed for outdoor use, it gets extremely hot during operation. We strongly recommend using it on a heat-resistant surface like stone or concrete, or pairing it with a Solo Stove Stand to protect your deck or patio from heat damage.
Once the unit has completely cooled, simply lift the fire pit and turn it over to dump the fine ash into a safe container. Because the airflow design is so efficient, most wood burns down to a very small amount of ash, making cleanup quick and easy.
While the 304 stainless steel is durable and weather-resistant, it is not rust-proof. To keep your fire pit in the best condition and prevent weather-related wear, we recommend storing it in a dry place or using a protective cover when it is not being used.
