POLYWOOD is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) lumber made from recycled plastics. It is specifically engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions, meaning it won't rot, crack, peel, or splinter like natural wood.
Because the material is weather-resistant, you do not need to store it indoors during the winter. A simple periodic cleaning with soap, water, and a soft-bristle brush is all that is required to keep the set looking new.
The set measures 117 inches wide by 74 inches deep. We recommend leaving at least 30 to 36 inches of clearance around the perimeter of the table to ensure guests can comfortably pull out their chairs and move around the dining area.
The set arrives flat-packed and requires assembly. While it is manageable for most homeowners, the pieces are substantial and heavy, so we recommend having two people available to help with the setup.
