While the total weight capacity for the entire unit is 300 lbs, it is best to distribute heavier items evenly across the shelves. Given the 300 lb total capacity, each of the six shelves can comfortably hold approximately 50 lbs.
The unit is designed as a freestanding piece with a sturdy stainless steel frame and back supports. However, for added safety and to prevent tipping, especially in homes with children or pets, we recommend using a wall anchor kit.
