The shaker has a capacity of 24 ounces, or 710 milliliters, which is the standard size for preparing one to two cocktails at a time.
The rippled, hand-forged texture provides a natural tactile grip, making it easier to hold and shake securely even when the exterior becomes cold or slightly damp from condensation.
While the polished finish is designed to shimmer, the hammered, undulating surface helps to diffuse light and hide minor smudges or fingerprints better than a perfectly smooth, mirror-polished shaker.
To preserve the polished finish and the integrity of the hand-forged metal, we recommend hand washing with mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers that could scratch the surface.
The Mirage Shaker is a traditional-style shaker and does not feature a built-in strainer. You will need to use a separate Hawthorne or Julep strainer when pouring your drinks.
