This Fitz and Floyd Plaid Santa Christmas canape plate was made from 2001 until 2005. This one is dated 10 - 21 - 2001 on the back. It It is a must-have for any collector. this plate features a jolly Santa and is perfect for the holiday season. The plate has been discontinued. The plate does have a small glaze miss on one edge, and a couple of small slices out of the back bottom rim of the plate that happened when it was produced. It measures approximately 9 inches by 8 1/2 inches. It is marked along the bottom edge: W. Averitt. Wendall Averitt retired from Fitz and Floyd in 2006. On the back it is marked Fitz and Floyd Essentials, and there is a small sticker that reads Handcrafted in China. It It is a great addition to any collection of Christmas items and would make a wonderful gift for someone special. It would be perfect for serving cookies, or to display vintage ornaments in.
