The MicroLine stylus is designed to track the record groove with extreme precision. Because of its unique shape, it can reach deeper into the groove to capture subtle details and high-frequency information that standard elliptical styli might miss.
The VM740ML uses a standard half-inch mount, which is compatible with the vast majority of modern and vintage turntables. As long as your tonearm accepts a standard headshell-mounted cartridge, this will fit.
The tracking force range is 1.8 to 2.2 grams, with 2.0 grams being the standard recommendation. It is important to set your tonearm's tracking force within this range to ensure accurate playback and prevent unnecessary wear on your records.
