This holder is specifically designed for UNpaper® Towels. While the 1-inch dowel is sturdy, it is sized for the core of pre-rolled UNpaper® Towels and may not fit the standard cardboard tubes found on conventional paper towel rolls.
The base is finished with natural tung oil to protect the wood. To maintain its sheen, simply wipe it clean with a dry cloth and occasionally reapply a wood finishing oil as needed.
