The Sapphire V2 features a long-pole stem that provides a distinct, mid-to-high level of tactility right at the top of the keypress. This results in a crisp, snappy feedback that feels more pronounced than the subtle bump found in many entry-level tactile switches.
These are 5-pin switches compatible with most hot-swap mechanical keyboards that support Cherry MX-style stems. If your keyboard PCB only supports 3-pin switches, you can easily clip the two extra plastic legs off the bottom to make them fit.
The two-stage spring provides a more consistent and snappy return compared to standard single-stage springs. It helps the switch feel more responsive and refined, contributing to the overall satisfying typing experience.
