Know before you buy
Yes, the No. 101 model is specifically designed with a compact 180 mm length, making it an excellent choice for users with smaller hands who need better control and maneuverability.
These pruners have a maximum cutting capacity of 3/4 inch (19 mm) for live, green wood. Attempting to cut thicker branches or dry, hard wood may damage the precision-ground blades.
Izumo Yasuki steel is renowned for its exceptional hardness (HRC 61), which allows the blades to maintain a razor-sharp edge significantly longer than standard stainless steel. This results in cleaner, smoother cuts that are healthier for your plants.
Because the blades are made from high-carbon steel, they are prone to rust if left wet or dirty. To keep them in top condition, wipe the blades clean after each use, apply a light coat of oil, and store them in a dry place.
The pruners feature a simple, reliable safety clip located at the end of the handles. It is designed to be easily operated with one hand, allowing you to securely lock the blades in the closed position when not in use.
