HMK S237 Stone Sealer

HMK® S237 is a ready-to-use color enhancing surface sealant that reduces the penetration of water, dirt and grease into honed, brushed, sandblasted, flamed and riven soft and hard natural stone surfaces, agglomerates, concrete and terrazzo. The color and structure of the surface will be enhanced while leaving a satin finish. HMK® S237 is UV resistant and slip retardant. Facilitates regular cleaning and overall maintenance, especially on rough and textured surfaces. For internal use only. Important: Do not use in wet areas or on polished, glazed or non-absorbing surfaces. Clean surface thoroughly before treatment using HMK® R155 Intensive Cleaner (diluted) followed by a flood rinse with water and allow at least 24 hours to dry (max residual moisture of 2-4%) before sealing. If under floor heating exists, switch it off and allow the surface to cool to room temperature. Instructions: Apply HMK® S237 generously and evenly to a chemically clean and dry surface with a natural bristle paint brush or the HMK® Z950-HMK Z951 brushes and leave to dry. Do not allow to puddle. Repeat treatment after 12 hours if further color enhancement is desired. One or two even applications are usually sufficient, depending on porosity of the stone and desired color enhancement. Do not walk on the treated surface until 6 to 12 hours after treatment is completed. Protect surface from rain and humidity for 12 hours. Do not apply to rubber, plastics, lacquered or varnished surfaces and solvent intolerant materials. Remove all foodstuffs from the area to be treated before work is commenced. Once dry the residual material is not harmful to health. For regular cleaning and continued protection use HMK® P324 Liquid Stone Soap. Coverage: About 50 to 110 square feet per liter Warning: Chemical product. Flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Harmful or fatal if swallowed or inhaled. Ensure the area to be treated is adequately ventilated. Avoid eye/skin contact. If exposed wash/flush with water and seek medical attention immediately. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use the product in temperatures below 50 and above 80°F. Packaging: 12 x 1L tins per box; 2 x 5L tins per box Storage: Store in a cool place and keep lid tightly closed. Testing: Always test the product in an inconspicuous area to evaluate suitability, coverage and performance.
