These switches utilize UHMWPE plastic for both the top and bottom housing. This material has an exceptionally low coefficient of friction, which creates a noticeably fluid and consistent keystroke compared to traditional nylon or polycarbonate housings.
These are 5-pin switches. They are compatible with most modern hot-swap PCBs, but if your board only supports 3-pin switches, you will need to clip the two plastic guide pins off the bottom of the switch housing.
They come with a light factory lube, which provides a great experience out of the box. However, if you prefer a deeper sound profile and maximum smoothness, opting for the professional hand-lubing and filming service is recommended.
