These keycaps are designed for Cherry MX switches and compatible clones, which use the standard cross-shaped stem found on most mechanical keyboards.

The SA R1 profile is a tall, sculpted keycap shape designed specifically for the top row of your keyboard, such as the Escape key or the F-row. It is taller than standard OEM or Cherry profiles, so it will sit higher than the surrounding keys.

The keycaps are crafted from specialized resin and acrylic materials that absorb ambient light and emit a glow in darker environments. For the best effect, expose them to a bright light source before turning the lights down.

While these are artisan keycaps intended primarily for aesthetic display or accent keys, they are handcrafted by Dwarf Factory using durable resin and acrylic. They are built to withstand standard typing use, though they are more delicate than standard injection-molded plastic caps.

While you can physically place the keycap on any MX-style switch, it is sculpted specifically for the R1 row. Placing it on other rows may feel awkward or inconsistent with the height and angle of your other keys.
