The Fozgometer uses a "Log Ratio Detector" to measure channel separation, balance, and signal direction using a test record. Readings can be taken directly from tonearm cables, phono stage output, or tape output without affecting accuracy, and the device allows for hands-free adjustment of the tonearm.
