No, this screen is not recommended for use with Ultra Short Throw projectors. The surface material is designed for standard throw distance projection.
The screen is designed to be recessed into your ceiling, allowing the case to be hidden from view when the screen is retracted. You will need to cut an opening in your ceiling to accommodate the aluminum housing, so professional installation is recommended.
