Yes, the preamplifier includes a built-in 24/192 PCM DAC with both optical and coaxial inputs. This allows you to connect digital devices like streamers or CD transports directly to the unit.

The Bluetooth 5.0 input offers convenient wireless streaming for casual listening. While it provides a stable connection, for critical listening sessions, we recommend using the wired analog or digital inputs to take full advantage of the unit's high-fidelity circuit.

The unit offers selectable 50 Ohm and 600 Ohm output resistances to help you match the preamp to your specific power amplifier. The 50 Ohm setting is generally better for long cable runs, while the 600 Ohm setting may provide a different sonic character depending on your amplifier's input impedance.

The tone controls are fully defeatable. You can bypass them entirely to ensure the cleanest possible signal path when you want to listen to your music exactly as it was recorded.

Like any tube-based component, the Telefunken PCF803 tubes will eventually require replacement after several thousand hours of use. Because these are rare NOS (New Old Stock) tubes, you should handle the unit with care and ensure it has adequate ventilation to prolong their lifespan.
