It works in conjunction with Combustion Predictive Thermometers (CPTs), amplifying their signals and relaying them via Wi-Fi to the Combustion app or the internet. The GGG features a detachable base that mounts to the grill lid, acting as a thermal barrier and a communication hub. It can display core, surface, and ambient temperatures for up to four CPTs simultaneously, with data accessible via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. While the GGG's own temperature probe measures ambient lid temperature, its primary benefit lies in improving signal strength for the CPTs, ensuring reliable data transmission from within the cooker. This makes it a valuable addition for owners of Combustion's Predictive Thermometers, especially for resolving signal strength issues caused by cooker enclosures.
