Know before you buy
The multi-voicing feature allows you to switch between three distinct analog circuit paths directly on the microphone. This changes the frequency response and harmonic character, letting you choose between a more vintage, warm sound or a modern, open, and clear tone without needing external EQ.
Unlike post-recording EQ, these filters are part of the analog signal path before the signal hits your preamp. They are designed to manage high-frequency peaks and control the microphone's overall character, helping you tame harsh sources or add presence before you even start mixing.
Yes, the EDEN is highly versatile. While it excels on male and female vocals, its large 38mm capsule and selectable polar patterns make it an excellent choice for acoustic guitars, drum overheads, and even piano, thanks to its ability to capture significant depth and detail.
The EDEN uses a premium, aged EF806 tube, which is selected for its reliability and sonic quality. While tubes do have a lifespan, this one is designed for professional studio use and does not require frequent user maintenance beyond standard care for high-end condenser microphones.
The microphone's selectable polar patterns—Cardioid, Omnidirectional, and Figure-8—give you options to manage your environment. Using the Cardioid setting will help reject sound from the back and sides, which is generally the best approach if your recording space has unwanted reflections or background noise.
The EDEN comes as a complete kit, including a custom power supply, a dedicated suspension shock mount, a 5-pin XLR cable to connect the mic to the power supply, an IEC power cable, and a protective flight case for storage and transport.
