It features 48 PCB-wired channels, with 24 front pairs and 24 corresponding rear pairs, all adapted for balanced signals. The unique clamping design secures PCBs without nuts, allowing for easy reconfiguration. Identification strips are included for both front and rear panels, and a grey jack provides clear normalling identification. The standard configuration is half-normalled on the bottom row, which can be easily changed by flipping individual PCBs. Inserting a plug into the grey jack isolates the top from the bottom row.
