This kit is optimized for modern Intel (Z790, Z690, Z590, Z490) and AMD (X570, B550) platforms. Because it is a high-performance kit, ensure your motherboard supports DDR4 memory and check your specific motherboard's QVL (Qualified Vendor List) to confirm compatibility with these timings.
To reach the rated speed of 3600MHz, you must enable the Intel XMP 2.0 profile in your motherboard's BIOS settings. Without enabling this profile, the RAM will default to a standard, slower JEDEC speed.
The 8-zone RGB lighting is compatible with most major motherboard lighting control software, such as ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and ASRock Polychrome Sync. You can also use G.SKILL's own lighting control software for full customization.
