This is a DDR3 memory kit, so it is only compatible with motherboards that have DDR3 DIMM slots. Please verify that your motherboard supports the 2133MHz speed and the 1.6V operating voltage before purchasing.
Intel XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) allows you to easily overclock your RAM to its rated speed of 2133MHz through your BIOS settings. Without enabling XMP, the system may default to a lower standard speed.
While this kit is optimized for quad-channel chipsets, it will function in dual-channel systems as well. However, you will need to ensure your motherboard has four available DIMM slots to install all four modules.
