With a weight of 12.5g and a dynamic compliance of 15 μm/mN, this cartridge is a medium-compliance design that pairs well with a wide variety of modern tonearms. However, it is specifically optimized for the E.A.T. F-Note tonearm, which will provide the most seamless integration.

As a moving-coil (MC) cartridge with a low output voltage of 0.3 mV, you will need a phono preamplifier that supports MC cartridges. Ensure your phono stage has sufficient gain to handle the 0.3 mV output and adjustable loading options to dial in the best performance.

The combination of chestnut wood and aluminum is intentional; the wood provides natural damping properties that help control unwanted vibrations, while the aluminum adds the necessary rigidity for a stable platform. This hybrid construction helps reduce coloration, allowing for a more neutral and accurate frequency response.

The recommended tracking force is 2.3g (23mN). While the cartridge operates within a range of 2.0g to 2.5g, setting it at the recommended 2.3g will provide the optimal balance between tracking stability and sonic performance.

The '8N' refers to the purity level of the copper, which is 99.999999% pure.
