The tarp features a highly adaptable attachment system designed to work with most Jeeps, SUVs, and trucks. Because it uses a flexible connection method rather than a vehicle-specific mold, it is compatible with a wide range of roof racks and vehicle profiles.
The Roadhouse Tarp offers three primary configurations. You can set it up as a standard vehicle awning, a standalone shelter using the included poles, or a windbreak, depending on your campsite layout and weather conditions.
The tarp is constructed from 68D polyester with a 1200mm water-resistance rating. While it provides reliable protection against light to moderate rain and sun, it is designed as a shelter tarp rather than a fully enclosed, heavy-duty four-season tent.
When packed, the shelter measures 25" x 7" x 7". It is compact enough to easily slide into the back of most vehicles alongside your other camping gear.
The two included steel poles are fixed at a height of 96 inches. They are constructed in five segments each, allowing you to break them down quickly for storage, but they are not telescoping poles.
While a roof rack provides the most secure and versatile attachment point, the tarp's attachment system is flexible enough to work with various vehicle configurations. We recommend testing the connection points on your specific vehicle setup before heading out on your first trip.
