The round profile provides a consistent, predictable response across the string bed, which helps with touch and feel. Because it is a co-poly construction, it offers a balance of durability and comfort that is generally more forgiving than stiffer, shaped polyester strings.

It is an excellent candidate for hybrids because of its round shape and durability. You can pair it with a softer multifilament in the crosses to increase comfort and power, or use it in the mains to maintain control and spin potential without the string 'locking up' as quickly as shaped strings might.

Thinner gauges like 18 (1.15mm) offer more feel and spin potential but will break faster. Thicker gauges like 16 (1.30mm) or 15L (1.35mm) provide maximum durability and a slightly firmer feel, making them better suited for players who break strings frequently.

While co-poly strings are generally firmer than synthetic gut or multifilaments, the Diadem Flash is designed with a focus on comfort. However, if you have a history of arm issues, we recommend stringing it at a lower tension or using it as part of a hybrid setup with a softer string to reduce shock.

A standard 660-foot (200-meter) reel typically provides enough string for 16 to 18 racquets, depending on your racquet head size and string pattern. This makes it a cost-effective choice for players who restring their rackets frequently throughout the season.
