While the surface is nonstick, we recommend hand-washing this pan with mild soap and a soft sponge. Dishwashers can be abrasive and may degrade the nonstick coating over time, shortening the lifespan of the pan.

Even with a nonstick coating, a light coating of cooking spray or butter is recommended, especially for cheesecakes or egg-based dishes. This extra step ensures a flawless release and makes cleanup significantly faster.

The fit is precise, but it is not airtight. If you are working with a very thin batter, it may seep through the edges. This pan is best suited for thicker batters like cheesecake, shortcrust pastry, or dense cake mixes.
