While the planter is weather-resistant and suitable for outdoor use, terracotta blends can be susceptible to cracking in freezing temperatures. We recommend bringing it indoors or storing it in a sheltered area during harsh winter months to preserve the finish and structural integrity.

This specific model does not come with a pre-drilled drainage hole. If you are planting directly into the pot, we recommend adding a layer of gravel or leca at the bottom to assist with drainage, or simply using it as a cachepot for a nursery liner.

The finish is matte and slightly porous, mimicking the look of aged, weathered stone. It has a tactile, organic feel that adds depth to the surface rather than a smooth, uniform glaze.

The 11-inch diameter refers to the widest part of the planter's rounded silhouette. Please keep in mind that the opening at the top may be slightly narrower due to the jar-like shape.

Because of the natural terracotta blend, the planter may develop a slight patina or mineral deposits over time, especially if used outdoors. This is a natural characteristic of the material and typically enhances the aged aesthetic of the piece.
