The Rift Zone Carbon XR is specifically engineered around 29-inch wheels to optimize its rollover capability and handling characteristics. We do not recommend using 27.5-inch wheels, as it would significantly alter the bottom bracket height and frame geometry.

The frame uses the Boost 148x12mm rear axle standard. This spacing provides increased wheel stiffness and allows for better tire clearance compared to older, narrower standards.
