ADEL technology helps reduce pneumatic pressure in the ear canal, which significantly lowers listening fatigue. This makes the P450s much more comfortable for long studio sessions or extended periods of critical listening.
The four balanced armature drivers are split into a 3-way crossover network, with two dedicated to the low end and two for the high and mid frequencies. This setup ensures that bass remains powerful without muddying the clarity of the mids and highs.
While they are engineered for professional monitoring, their detailed sound signature and comfort make them excellent for audiophiles who prioritize accuracy. However, keep in mind that they are custom-fit, meaning they are designed specifically for your ear anatomy.
The P450s provide approximately -18dB of passive noise isolation when using the included S1 ADEL modules. Because they are custom-molded to your ears, they create a much tighter seal than universal-fit earbuds, effectively blocking out ambient noise.
With an impedance of 28 Ohms, these monitors are relatively easy to drive and can be used directly with most standard 3.5mm jacks. While a high-quality DAC or amplifier can further refine the audio performance, it is not strictly required for them to function correctly.
