The table features two self-storing 20-inch leaves that divide at the center. When you need to expand the table, you simply pull the ends apart to reveal the storage compartment, lift the leaves out, and secure them in place.
When fully extended to its 124-inch length, the table comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. Without the leaves, the 84-inch length is ideal for smaller, everyday gatherings.
Because this table is crafted from solid oak and oak veneer, you will see natural variations in the wood grain. It is normal to see knots and small splits, which are intentional characteristics of the material and add to the piece's unique, timeless aesthetic.
Assembly is required for this piece. While the process is straightforward, we recommend having two people on hand to help position the table, as the solid oak construction makes it quite heavy.
The distance from the floor to the bottom of the apron is 25.5 inches. Most standard dining chairs will fit comfortably, but it is a good idea to measure the height of your chair arms to ensure they clear the apron when pushed in.
