Easy to Grow Bulbs Amaryllis

You can expect your bulb to bloom within 40 to 60 days after planting. This timeline makes it an excellent choice for timed indoor displays during the winter months.

Plant the bulb in a well-draining pot with the top one-third of the bulb exposed above the soil line. Ensure the pot is just slightly larger than the bulb itself to encourage better blooming.

The Lime Flare Amaryllis is only hardy outdoors in USDA Zones 9-11. If you live in a colder region, it is best grown as a potted indoor plant that can be moved outside during the warmer summer months.

Place your Amaryllis in a location that receives bright, direct indoor light. A south-facing window is typically the best spot to ensure the plant receives enough energy to produce its unique yellow-green blooms.

Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Once the plant begins to show active growth, you can increase your watering frequency slightly, but always allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings.
