The ThermoPro TP-826B Wireless Thermometer is a two-channel, remote thermometer offering a 500-foot range. It features a transmitter displaying probe temperatures and a receiver showing both channels, alarm limits, and timer status. Both units have backlights for visibility. Programmable temperature alarms can be set manually or via pre-set meat types and doneness levels, though these presets are noted as conservative. An audible tone and flashing backlight alert users when alarm limits are breached, with the option to disable the alarm sound. A timer function allows for both countdown and count-up modes. The transmitter and receiver have legs for standing, and the receiver includes a magnet for mounting. The transmitter has an extendable tab for hanging. The receiver auto-shuts off after 30 minutes of lost transmission, and the transmitter shuts down if probes remain below 40°C for two hours.
